2020 Christmas Gift Guide - Toys
Toys are Children’s words and play is their language - Carry Landerth
One of the best parts of the holidays if not the best, is watching Ethan and Liam open up their toys! It brings me SO much joy and my mama heart feels all kinds of things!
Growing up, we didn’t have a lot of toys because having immigrant parents meant that we barely made ends meet some months. My parents worked two jobs each and did the best they could. With that being said and now being in a position to be able to buy what I want for my kids (within reason) makes me extremely grateful! Our house is FULL of toys and some days the clutter makes me want to hide them away, but this phase only lasts a few years so I am taking it all in!
Below are a mix of toys that were either gifted to us or we purchased and the boys are obsessed with them!

I can’t say enough good things about Coco Village and their kids toys and furniture. We own a lot of their items that we either purchased or were gifted to us.
This play kitchen below is such a winner with both kids. I LOVE the modern wood finish and both boys play with it daily. The matching shopping cart is such a great addition to the kitchen. It doubled as a walker for Liam!
We also have two of their balance bikes. These were a hit with Ethan and how cute and trendy are they?! Liam just started using his more indoors now with assistance and he loves it!
We also own their house bed and matching sheet set and Ethan is as obsessed with his bed as he was when he first moved into his big boy room. Coco Village is a brand that you definitely want to check out for your kids! They have great quality items!
This play tent has plenty of room for multiple children to enjoy hours of fun, imaginative play. The extra roomy, no floor design makes for the perfect space to hang out.
The tent can be used as a place to play with toys, read or imagine you are roaming the streets of Gotham City. The iconic, high quality Batman Batmobile art helps promote realistic role play and creativity. This is part of Ethan’s Christmas gift and he is going to love it!
The most iconic arcade video games are back in a size that will fit in the palm of your hand! The screen size is less than 1.5 inches and the overall cabinet sizes are 4×2 inches. Each Tiny Arcade comes with the complete gameplay, full-color, hi-res screen, authentic game sounds, joystick and two control buttons in a backlit arcade-style cabinet. The new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Tiny Arcade will feature new and improved hi-density graphics and scrolling action gameplay! Also launching in Fall 2020 includes Mappy, Burger Time and Hello Kitty Pac-Man Special Edition.
This is one toy that I know my hubby will be stealing from the kids! How fun are these cute little arcade games! Brings back so many childhood memories!
We have been shopping at Toys R Us since I can remeber. One of my first jobs was as a cashier and I remeber loving my shifts there! Toys“R”Us is the ultimate destination for all of your Holiday needs and this year’s Top Toy list includes over fifty of the hottest holiday gift ideas.
Here are some of Ethan’s picks
Set up your shot with the tabletop tripod/selfie stick and built-in microphone, then use the easy on-screen editing and creativity tools to create trick shots and time-lapse video. Intended for ages 5-10 years. Video can only be uploaded via included USB cable at parent's discretion.
Operation Pet Scan Board Game with Silly Sounds
The Operation Pet Scan game has a twist on classic Operation gameplay. Cavity Sam's dog, Rex-Ray, ate things he shouldn't have, and players need to get them out of his belly. Ethan loves operation so we are excited to try this one too!
Paw Patrol Dino Team Vehicle Patroller
Jump into action with PAW Patrol! Saving the day is more adventurous than ever with the Dino Patroller, the first-ever motorized PAW Patrol team vehicle! Featuring room for all six pups, oversized wheels, a projectile launcher and an exclusive Chase and T. rex dinosaur action figure, the Dino Patroller is ready to roll! When the dinosaurs yelp for help, place Chase and another pup (sold separately) in the cab and a Dino Rescue Deluxe Vehicle (sold separately) into the back bay.
Ethan LOVES paw patrol so this one was a no brainer! He has been playing with this non-stop!
Play-Doh Kitchen Creations Candy Delight Playset
This Play-Doh candy factory is a treat for the imagination as kids create their own silly gummy bears, pretend candy bars, and play candy cups. Fill the top with Play-Doh compound, then turn the crank on the candy machine to see the crazy colorful Play-Doh candies pour out. Scoop the creations into the pretend candy buckets to show them off to friends. 5 cans of non-toxic Play-Doh compound work like modeling clay to crank up the creativity. It's a great arts and crafts activity or gift for kids 3 years and up!
Our Generation Sweet Stop Ice Cream Truck - Blue
This truck is full of treats that can't be beat! What's your favorite flavor? Let the neighborhood know that the Sweet Stop truck has arrived by playing an ice cream theme song. There are three different songs to choose from, so you can pick your favorite or play all three! Advertise daily specials with the real chalk and chalkboard and serve up delicious treats on the go from the huge variety of lifelike food. Sundaes, popsicles, banana splits, snow cones, milkshakes, slushies with this many options, the hardest part is deciding!
