Gosh has 2020 been a whirlwind! Its been everything from eye opening to frustrating and back to being absolulty grateful for keeping healthy to date. I feel thankful that I had all this extra time together at home with my little babes but I, like everyone else feels a bit robbed of the plans we had in place to make some really great travel memories. Nonetheless, we are healthy and well and that is all that really matters.

Most recently, I wanted to see a doctor for a blood test for myself. My doctor isn’t taking any non-emergency appointments and if so, you need to see him in the alley! Not very convenient during the rainy season but I totally get it. He’s an amazing Doctor who has seen me since childhood!

Most recently, we discovered the CloudMD app and it’s been a game changer. The CloudMD app is a free, secure platform that connects patients with physicians for a real-time medical visit via video conferencing for non-emergency health concerns. The app eliminates the need for patients to travel to an appointment and can be accessed using a smartphone, tablet or desktop computer from the comfort of home. The service is available beyond regular clinic hours, including evenings and weekends. Using the service, each patient will automatically have an electronic chart created that will allow providers to quickly access and understand the patient’s past and current health status. If you are from BC or Ontario, this app is completely free!

THIS IS AMAZING! How come no one thought of this sooner?! I feel like even before a pandemic, this would have been such an amazing service to use when I was a new Mom taking Ethan to my Doctor for every single little thing that didn’t warrant a real visit! I would have saved myself a lot of time! I know you new mamas get me! ;)

This part above where I was able to access my chart and notes was so great. I always find myself at my Doctors going through my file when I wait so having it all electronically makes so much sense. Who wouldn’t want the convience of seeing a Doctor on weekends and best of all the service is FREE!!

Monday to Sunday - 8am-8pm

Ontario residents:

Monday to Friday 9am-7pm

Saturday and Sunday 9am-5pm
