I’ve been using Nurture Me for over a year now and I like it! It’s hydrating enough for my skin during spring and summer but in the winter when my skin is especially dry, it doesn’t quite do the trick for a daytime moisturizer. It has a whipped texture, like frosting on a cupcake which glides on my face very easily, and it dries matte which I like. It doesn’t feel heavy on the skin, which is also a big bonus.
You can use this moisturizer both during the day and night and I like it better for nighttime. I want something with an SPF in it for my daytime moisturizer. Before I started using Nurture Me, I only wore Banana Boat sunscreen on my face. (my sisters used to make so much fun of me but I swear SPF does wonders for your skin!) Because Nurture Me doesn’t have an SPF, I find myself mixing it with an over the counter SPF or skipping the whole step all together, which is something I need to change as soon as possible.
I also have sensitive skin and Nurture Me doesn’t cause any breakouts on my skin.
Pros:
- Good for sensitive Skin
- Wears well under makeup
- Good value for $$
Cons:
- No SPF
- Not great for daytime/winter wear
Overall Score: 4/5: I want a daytime moisturizer with an SPF that will also give me more hydration for these cold winter days. I'll continue using Nurture Me as part of my nighttime routine.
