Toddler and Baby Essentials - Fall/Winter 2019
Kid…you will move mountains!
I’m feeling more settled into this whole mom of multiples gig so I thought I would share our favorite baby and toddler items this season! New items and technology is always being released so I felt like some of the items we used for Ethan needed an upgrade. It’s very timely as all of these items are ones that I had my eye on so when Elfe and I decided to collaborate, the timing was perfect! I was a couple of years out date and Elfe had me covered with the newest, affordable and reliable baby goods!
Nuna Leaf Grow Swing: This swing has to be the best piece of baby gear that we have ever received. I wish I had this for Ethan! Since Liam loves to be rocked 24/7, this swing has been a life saver. From newborn. to toddler, to big kid; it grows with your child.. It holds up to 132 pounds which means it can hold my weight, haha! This is perfect as I know Ethan will want to sit in it too so I don’t need to worry about weight capacity I love how sleek, elegant and simple it looks. It fits perfectly with our living room decor! This swing also comes in a few different colors!
]Nuna Diaper Bag - Okay so this bag is the mother of all diaper bags! The best part is that it doesn’t even look like a diaper bag. You can wear it as a messenger bag/cross body which my husband loves or as a backpack which is so perfect for travelling or trips to the park. We actually took this bag to Whistler with us and it was so convenient. I love how classy and sleek it looks and matches my stroller perfectly!
Some other highlights:
Fits tablets and laptops up to 13 in.
Includes changing pad clutch and insulated bottle bag
Luxe leatherette tote handle
2 elastic bottle straps
Magnetic front flap closure and zipper top
7 elastic mesh pockets
1 zippered wipeable pocket
Quilted mesh back provides airflow
Baby Brezza Formula Pro Advanced - HOW did I not have this with Ethan?! I wasn’t able to exclusively breast feed as I didn’t produce enough milk so we topped off with formula. Having to manually make formula bottles was such a hassle. This is basically a baby Keurig! You fill the base with water, add the formula powder and tell it how much formula you need. It’s been amazing and such a time saver, especially in the middle of the night. It literally takes 2 minutes and gives you the perfect crafted baby bottle! It’s compatible with all formula powders and you can even set how warm you want the bottle! If you are a first time mom, this is definitely an essential!
I know there is lots of chatter regarding breastfeeding or formula feeding your baby and what i have learned is that fed is best. If you are reading this and are a first time mom, do what is best for you and your family and block out all the noise and judgment. Only you know what your body is capable of and follow your own lead. I had such guilt with Ethan for not being to exclusively breastfeed but learned fairly quickly that society puts these expectations out there and it’s up to us on how we want to play into them! Do you and what is best for you and your little babe. (Thanks for coming to my ted talk, haha).
Plush Teether Blanket - Liam is loving this little teether blanket. Nuby makes the cutest and colorful little toys for babies and this one is no exception!
Beaded Pacifinder with Teether - This is another teether and its been perfect for Liam for when we are on the go. I love that it’s pink ;)
Thirsty Kids REFLEX Flip it Cup with soft grip - Ethan has been using this water bottle for a few months now and I love how easy it is to clean! It’s dishwasher safe and spill proof which is great for an active toddler.
Tear-Free Rinse Pail - Okay I have to admit we were using an empty sour cream container when showering Ethan, haha. This is a great pail as it’s more medium sized and looks better than an empty tupperware container ;)
Bath Time Toss
This toy by Nuby is so cute! Ethan needed some more bath toys and this little octopus is perfect! He’s been playing with it non stop!
There you have it! These are my must have baby and toddler items for 2019! I will be back in early Spring to let you know what else we are loving! Hope this helps!
